TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Vigo County History Center is allowing residents to take a trip down memory lane on election day.
The exhibit is a timeline dating back all the way to 1840 that takes you through key political moments in Vigo County’s history.
It is Eleanor Cox Riggs’ political button and memorabilia collection that she used to teach students with before donating it to the museum.
The Center’s Executive Director Marla Flowers said that it is an honor to display this exhibit.
“It is really a cool exhibit for us to look back on the history and she used them as an educational tool,” she said. “It is just a really fun and cool exhibit for us.”
This display can be found on the second floor of the museum.
