VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO-WAWV) – A two vehicle accident sends three people to the hospital, one with life threatening injuries.
According to Vigo County Sheriffs Deputy Cogan McClain, the accident happened just after 6 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 63 And Harlan Drive in Vigo County.
One person sustained serious life-threatening injuries and was flown to an Illinois hospital.
Two people in the other vehicle were transported to a local hospital with non- life threatening injuries.
Officials say the cause of the crash was disregarding a stop sign. Parts of the U.S. 63 were closed, for a time, for accident reconstruction.
