SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Students from Sullivan High School went to 12 Points in Terre Haute on Wednesday to help install new seating and shade.
The owner of the Truck Stop in 12 Points needed some help putting in new seating and better shade so she connected with the College and Career advisor at the school to give this opportunity to students.
The students worked in their construction class to build the structure, then once it was done, they brought it to the Truck Stop to put it up.
They also say it was nice to see the students use the skills they learned in class and they hope to have students work on more projects.
